Mishimoto MMGRT-235 2 x 35' Heat Defense Reflective Tape

Mishimoto Heat Defense Tape can be used to reflect heat and protect sensitive engine components from high engine temperatures. Heat Defense is constructed of highly reflective metalized polyimide film, the same material used by the space industry to protect sensitive instruments from high temperatures. The film is laminated to glass cloth using a high temperature laminating adhesive.

Protecting vital engine components from heat is tough, especially when it comes to fitting into the nooks and crannies of the engine bay. Mishimoto has devised a solution with Mishimoto's Gold Reflective Barrier. Mishimoto's heat barrier is constructed from metalized polyamide polymer laminated glass cloth for protection of up to 850 F of continuous heat.
